KTU School of Economics and Business Strengthens Cooperation with Primus

On 13 September Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and law firm Primus signed a cooperation agreement. Mrs Edita Gimžauskienė, Dean of KTU School of Economics and Business, and Ernesta Žiogienė, partner at Primus, signed the agreement.

According to the agreement, collaboration will cover preparation and implementation of various law related projects, strengthen students’ knowledge of legal matters and their applicability in a competitive business environment.

Primus is a full-service business law firm with offices in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Firm’s lawyers advise on all legal areas of business, including advice on general corporate matters, consultations and representation of clients in large M&A and capital markets transactions, real estate and financing projects.

KTU has a clear aim to strengthen cooperation between science and business, invests in progress, innovative technologies and knowledge. We see many common points of interests. We also hope to contribute to implementation of interesting and innovative projects. We value this cooperation as an opportunity to share our professional knowledge and practical experience in business law, as well as motivate students to understand the importance of legal competencies” – noted Ernesta Žiogienė, partner at Primus.

By signing the cooperation agreement both organizations agreed to organize and implement projects in the field of law, cooperate in the improvement of study programmes, organize joint conferences and events, exchange professional expertise and good practice. Both parties will cooperate in consulting students on writing their course works and final works and in organising internships.

KTU School of Economics and Business is glad to cooperate with important partners, who will contribute to the improvement of faculty students’ legal knowledge.
