Kazimieras Simonavičius University summer project for pupils „Case No. Law in summer style 2016

Faculty of law of Kazimieras Simonavičius University together with its social partners – Institution of the Ombudsman for Children Rights, Forensic Science Centre of Lithuania, Vilnius County Police Headquarters, Prosecutor General’s Office, Court of Appeal of Lithuania, Chamber of Judicial officers of Lithuania, law firm Primus, Ministry of Justice and Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania – organised a summer project “Case No. Law in Summer style 2016” for Lithuanian pupils on 30 May – 3 June 2016. 

The aim of the project is to show the importance of legal knowledge to Lithuanian pupils, introduce them with legal profession, meet with famous lawyers and law students, involve them in legal process through simulation game.

Simulation game was held at law firm Primus. With a help of Primus lawyers Artūras Gutauskas and Andrius Laukašonokas, a group of pupils investigated a criminal case proposed by themselves about a car theft and thus deepened the knowledge about the proceedings of criminal investigations.

Final event of the project was held at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania where pupils met with Vidmantas Žiemelis, signatory of the Lithuanian Independence Act, and Arminas Lydeka, member of the Seimas and deputy chair of the committee of European Affairs.
