Primus advised UAB Hekon in an acquisition of a newly constructed ibis hotel in Vilnius

Primus, Attorneys at Law, advised Lithuanian company UAB Hekon, a subsidiary of Orbis S.A., which is part of world‘s leading hotel operator AccorHotels, in an acquisition of a newly constructed ibis hotel in Vilnius from the Lithuanian construction company MERKO. The value of the transaction is EUR 8,7 million.

New ibis hotel is owned by Orbis Group and will be the first economy class hotel and first hotel in green BREEAM certification in Lithuania. The hotel is planned to open this autumn.

Advice to UAB Hekon included preparation of the Sale – Purchase Agreement, consultations with the State Territory Planning and Construction Inspectorate, representation of the client in negotiations with construction company MERKO and all other transaction-related issues. The legal team of Primus included managing partner Robert Juodka, partner Tomas Venckus, associates Jaroslav Pavlovskij and Greta Bagdanavičiūtė who advised the client from the beginning of this project.
