Chambers Global 2017: Primus ranked among the top law firms

International legal directory Chambers and Partners has released the latest edition of its most extensive guide, Chambers Global 2017. The guide provides rankings of the best law firms and lawyers and covers over 190 countries across the world.

According to Chambers Global, all three Primus offices are ranked among the top law firms in the field of corporate/commercial and dispute resolution.

Corporate / Commercial

Primus partners in Estonia, Ermo Kosk and Gerli Kilusk, are ranked and recognized as “handling the full spectrum of complex and day-to-day corporate and commercial mandates.” Managing partner of Primus office in Lithuania, Robert Juodka, is also ranked as an Estonian expert based in Lithuania and described as “a well-known name in a corporate and commercial law market, often advising on cross-border matters involving Estonia.”

In Latvia, two Primus partners are ranked as the top lawyers in the field. Partner Zane Eglīte-Fogele is recommended for M&A transactions and general corporate advice and is described by the clients as “one of the best lawyers in tough negotiations: she is rather diplomatic and good at explaining deal breakers.” Partner Sintija Radionova is singled out by the clients as trying “to get to the very bottom of the question.”

Dispute Resolution

Anton Sigal, partner at Primus Estonian office, attracts positive feedback from clients, who appreciate his good interpersonal skills and “very solution-oriented and straight-to-the-point” approach. He acts on some of the biggest international arbitration cases in the Estonian market and also handles financial and public procurement disputes. While in Lithuania, partner Marius Devyžis acts on a broad range of litigation matters and has practical expertise in sports litigation issues. “I think he is a very good speaker in court,” says a source. Another adds: “He looks three steps ahead and has a clear plan.”
